Audit Senior Associate

				Role responsibilities
The responsibilities attributed to the role include: 
				- co-ordinating and liaising with audit team members and clients across multiple, concurrent audit engagements.
 - assisting with the planning phase of audit engagements.
 - assisting with the fieldwork and analysis phase of audit engagements and conducting audit procedures.
 - assisting with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with the relevant reporting framework (GAPSME / IFRSs as adopted by the EU).
 
Educational and skill requirements
The candidates we are looking for should ideally: 
				- possess a qualification or be enrolled with a recognised body, such as ACCA, or a reputable educational institution, such as the University of Malta, in an accounting course.
 - possess previous work experience within a similar role.
 - possess a good understanding of the accounting and auditing principles.
 - possess proficiency in Microsoft applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), with proficiency in CaseWare considered an asset.
 - possess strong communication (verbal and written) skills in English, with proficiency in Maltese considered an asset, and knowledge of other languages positively regarded.
